CHAPTER PRESIDENT
Hey y’all! My name is Grace McGrail, and I have the incredible honor of serving as Chapter President of Alpha Gam this year.
Alpha Gam has truly become my home away from home. This sisterhood has shaped me into the woman I am today by surrounding me with unwavering support, encouragement, and love. These women have filled so many roles in my life - my mentors, my cheerleaders, my best friends. From meeting my Big and Little to my fellow officers, advisors, and lifelong friends, I’ve found a family here that never fails to celebrate my wins and always makes sure I know that I’m loved.
From the moment I walked through the doors of Alpha Gam during Primary Recruitment, I instantly felt something special. The warmth and authenticity I felt was unmatched. I saw women who genuinely cared about their community, their chapter, and most importantly, each other. I knew immediately that this was the kind of sisterhood I wanted to grow within. From that moment on, Alpha Gam has been the heart of my college experience.
Coming to such a big school was scary - I was afraid I wouldn’t find “my people.” But because of the friendships I’ve made here, there hasn’t been a day where I’ve felt alone. These women have pushed me to become a stronger leader, a more intentional friend, and someone committed to leaving a meaningful impact.
One of my favorite lines in our Purpose is “to cherish friendships.” Whether it’s a quick text of encouragement before an exam, a walk down Milledge, or even just lunch at the house, the relationships I’ve built here are the kind that will last far beyond four years. And the best part: I continue to make friends as new pledge classes join our family! I can’t wait to meet PC ‘25!
Serving as President has been the most incredible experience. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to give back to a sisterhood that has given me so much - and I hope to continue supporting others the way Alpha Gam has supported me.
